I ran the Amsterdam Marathon in October 2024, and I was lucky enough to achieve a personal best. I’m glad that all my months of hard work and discipline finally paid off.
I’m not a strong runner, but I’m always a happy and grateful one. I’m happy to have accomplished another marathon and grateful that I can continue to outdo myself. As age catches up, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to maintain my physical strength.
十月,我悄悄地跑了一場馬拉松。也許是天氣寒冷、賽道平坦,竟然幸運的跑出了個人最佳成績。
因為很難跑得比別人快,所以我一直都只是個和自己賽跑的人。到了這個年紀,我竟還能比十多年前的自己跑得更快更壯,我已十分知足感恩了。
體育競技原本就不是我的強項,所以任何成績都並非天降。主要是自己長年累月有紀律的起居飲食、早睡早起、堅持訓練,才慢慢累積了這一點小小成果。
從容應對生活的不如意,欣喜惦記偶發的小確幸。
馬拉松是我熱愛的運動,也是我生命中非常重要的事。而每個人都有他跑步的理由;不必說出來,放在心上說給自己聽就好。
