今年的跑步赛

报名参加了两项赛会了。

1)Bareno Run
地点:吉隆坡Bukit Jalil
日期:13/3/2011
距离:21km

2) Standard Chartered KL International Marathon (SCKLIM 2011)
地点:吉隆坡 Dataran Merdeka
日期:26/6/2011
距离:42.195km

Bareno Run 的半马赛会,我的目标是2小时15分钟。如果我能发挥正常水平的话,应该可以达标。

然而,目前最大的挑战则是六月的SCKLIM 2011 的全马42.195公里。这是我继去年十一月的槟城大桥马拉松后,所打算挑战的第二个全马。
42.195km,路途遥远,荆棘满布,艰苦异常。然而,最辛苦的还不是比赛那几个小时,而是赛前几个月的刻苦训练。这可是需要无比的忍耐和毅力,才能坚持到底的。所以很多人说,跑马拉松的家伙,都是有被虐狂的变态之徒。

对于六月份的全马,我的目标是五小时完成比赛。希望自己加把劲,刻苦训练,以期能够达标。

    I have a Japanese friend who has just started marathon practice 4 months ago. 2 weeks ago, I heard he had his first 42km marathon! He finished it in about 5 hours plus. He is a finisher! And he is not so fit. And I thought because he's young but he's 40 plus. I heard he got lots of tips from pro marathon runner. Do you want me to ask for you? It involves appropriate diet, good pair of shoes and etc (I didn't take note everything though). Maybe by doing that, you can finish in about 4 hours? haha...

    Yes you are right, to train for marathon you will need proper diet, good shoes, proper training programe etc. It's available in many books and internet, but always hard to follow all the advices. haha!
